The Marketing Manager supports the Airlines & Fleets (A&F) Sales and Marketing team, plus supporting functions. This role is responsible for marketing and communications activities for the A&F division, and for ensuring smooth operations of the administration functions in support of sales & overall marketing. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing Business Intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, coordinate and execute trade shows, conferences and special events, maximizing the company's exposure and ROI
- Support Sales Managers' promotional materials requirements, incl. orders and new promo item recommendations
- Assist with managing the division's advertising budget, including managing creation and submission or ad materials, coordinating tracking and payment of invoices, and assessing ROI
- Assist with creating, managing and coordinating social media activities
- Assist with managing the division's presence and messaging across the company's websites
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across all channels, resulting in increased sales, customer retention and brand awareness
- Assist with production of marketing communications materials, including brochures and event invitations
- Assist with photography and filming to maximize promotion of the company
- Assist with various marketing initiatives including conducting market research as required
- University/college degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in a relevant field
- Experience with arranging and supporting industry trade shows
- Experience with selecting, placing and managing advertising (incl. web ads)
- Experience with managing social media activities
- Effective strategic and tactical marketing skills
- Ability to develop and execute marketing programs and follow through to execution, evaluation and measurement
- Ability to analyze data in order to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and provide improvement recommendations as required
- Ability to manage multiple, disparate projects through to completion, interacting with a wide range of stakeholders
- A strong work ethic, including willingness to work with tight deadlines and extended hours in order to get the job done
- Proficient with MS Office and image editing software
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with Google Ads (formally Google Adwords) is preferred but not essential
- Aerospace industry experience is strongly preferred.
- A flexible attitude with proven experience working in a small, high-pressure team
- Superior communication and organizational skills. Must be a quick study and self-starter who is able to initiate and follow through on projects
