Become a Communications Specialist with MPAC

Here's what you will do as part of the team:

Support MPAC's strategic objectives in developing, implementing and measuring programs and initiatives to support Strategic Business Support, Valuation and Assessment Services (VAS).

Establish, develop and maintain a strong network of relationships within VAS and across the organization to effectively support and execute department programs and initiatives in Strategic Business Support.

Provide customer service focused, valuable consultation and expertise to the team on the formation of initiatives supporting VAS.

Create materials to appropriately support the VAS team including market reports, presentations, research initiatives, policies and standards as well as special projects in a timely manner.

Proactively identify communication channels and initiatives to support business objectives.

Evaluate the implementation and success of communication plans, projects and programs, developing recommendations accordingly.

Here's what you will need to succeed:

A university degree or diploma in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.

At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in developing, creating and implementing strategic project and communications initiatives.

Demonstrated advanced level of skill in researching and writing with experience in various mediums and styles.

Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products and web-based tools.

Excellent editing skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple projects and deadlines.

Strong relationship building and networking skills.

Ability to function in a team environment.

Nice to have:

Experience in communications and client/stakeholder relations.
