Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for contributing to company sales by meeting customer needs, supporting outside sales, marketing and expanding client base, making delivery runs, and managing day-to-day operations of the branch. Service machinery is an asset but not mandatory. In addition to these responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Provide excellent customer service and encourage increased sales to walk-in and phone-in customers
  • Proactively contact existing customer to increase sales through broadening and deepening relationships
  • Actively prospect for new customers
  • Support needs of Outside Sales team member; complete quotes accurately within established time frames
  • Make 3 to 5 calls per day: 70% existing; 30% prospects and capture details of each call.
  • Follow sales procedures using established forms where relevant
  • Act as a key liaison for problem solving
  • Implement and build success with W.E. Greer marketing plan & specials
  • Deliver product sales to customers as required (20% travel)
  • Provide demonstration of cleaning equipment and information on cleaning products offered
  • Troubleshoot Tenant machines and refer if required to W.E. Service Technician
  • Introduce new products and/or equipment and promote sales
  • Consistently present a profession image, both in personal appearance and condition of company assets

Qualifications and Skills

  • Two or more years in a similar environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn company ERP system.
  • Ability to learn and understand product applications.
  • Ability to ?think? on your feet and make value added decisions with minimal direction.
