MindBeacon began with CBT Associates

  • a team of therapists including Psychologists and Psychological Associates practicing across multiple locations in the Greater Toronto Area, and now providing virtual therapy through secure video or your favourite device!

BEACON was first introduced in 2016 as an in-clinic innovation to enhance delivery and measurement of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). THE ROLE:

We're looking for an experienced, creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Marketing Specialist! Reporting into our Marketing Manager, this is a new role and an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Marketing team! The mandate of the Marketing team is to grow awareness, understanding and adoption of BEACON for organizations such as insurers, employers, post-secondary institutions, and public health organizations as well as potential users within these channels.

The Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in the following areas: partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support launch and activation efforts, trade-show and conference coordination and research, website and social media updates to promote brand awareness ...and more! AN OVERVIEW OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Support new customer launches by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, creating communication tools and web pages, as well as reporting
  • Implement marketing objectives across a variety of channels, including digital campaigns, reporting, presentation support, content development, and email development
  • Act as the point of contact for collateral development of resources such as external writers, designers, and translation services
  • Support the development and execution of partner and user activation campaigns, ensuring deliverables are met on time
  • Research, plan, and coordinate participation at conferences, trade-shows events, wellness fairs, etc.
  • Update the website using CMS, including landing page and blog post creation
  • Community management of social media channels; including research and content creation
  • Other duties as assigned

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT FOR OUR TEAM:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field
  • Minimum two years' experience working in a marketing or account management role, creating, project managing, and measuring marketing campaigns and programs
  • Technologically proficient in MS Office, as well as experience working on a CMS, broad knowledge of social media platforms and familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Familiarity and experience organizing and coordinating events, conferences, and tradeshow participation
  • Demonstrated project management and planning skills, paired with proficient organizational skills and a high attention to detail
  • Self-directed working style and comfortable working independently, consistently following through on deliverables
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and work effectively with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Heightened problem-solving skills and able to think creatively, anticipate, identify and resolve problems
  • Adaptability and familiarity working under pressure, adjusting to multiple changing and often competing priorities
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and ever-changing work environment, with a can-do, hands-on approach to work

Given the current situation with COVID-19, this position will likely start as a remote position, and you should expect in the beginning, that your work will be done from home. As such, your training and onboarding as well as ongoing work will be a bit different than usual, however we strive to maintain a collaborative environment through the use of virtual software and a strong team atmosphere. When the physical office does re-open, we will communicate about a return to work plan.
