Working under the direction of the Manager, Communications and Central ES Services, this position is responsible for implementing the communication plan for Enrolment Services, including organizing and supervising email and phone campaigns, writing student and counsellor newsletters, writing and editing admission letters and emails, writing and editing communications related to scholarships and student loans, parent communications, event communications, and texting communications.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the prospective student website is up to date, accurate, and provides the information that students are looking for. Duties include writing and editing content, designing layout, and continuous testing and improvement.
This position is also responsible for maintaining, but also improving functionality, of our Customer Relationship Management system (ezRecruit) which houses our guidance counsellor and prospective student information.
This position is responsible for maintaining security standards for communications software including texting, emailing, CRM, and website software.
This position acts as a back-up supervisor to the Enrolment Services front desk. When the Manager, Communications and Central ES Services is away this position will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the front desk as well as the staff, which includes one CUPE 4 position and a number of student assistants. This position will also assist the manager with hiring, training, and mentoring the front desk team.
This position also has a role in ES event planning of major recruitment events such as Fall Open House, UR Beginning, and Admission on the Spot events.
This position is responsible for student staff and recruitment Ambassadors in their capacity of assisting with communications and ezRecruit related tasks. This includes establishing priorities and workflow, scheduling staff, and creating standard operating procedures and manuals for these positions.
Finally, this position will act as a recruiter when necessary, representing the University of Regina at on and off-campus recruitment events and delivering enrolment counselling appointments. Position Requirements
Education: 4 year undergraduate degree.
Experience: 3 years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of the U of R
- programs, admission requirements, scholarships, new developments, University policies, etc.
- Technical knowledge of Banner, Access, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, as well as experience working with website design and layout and social media.
- Strong knowledge of marketing and communication techniques and trends.
- Experience delivering presentations in-person and virtually.
- Proven strong written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and project management skills.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience working with a CRM is a strong asset.
- Possession of a valid driver's license. Physical Demands
Must be able to lift heavy boxes. Pay Grade APT 4 Salary Range 60,172-81,196 Status Permanent Work Hours
