The Good News Broadcasting Association of Canada (GNBAC) is the organizational umbrella of Back to the Bible Canada (BTTBC), Laugh Again and indoubt ministries. GNBAC is dedicated to leading people into a growing, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ through excellent, innovative, multimedia Bible Teaching and Engagement.
To further this mission GNBAC has a full-time opportunity for the position of Marketing and Communications Manager.This position requires excellent leadership, organizational, writing,
and management skills, along with an understanding and willingness to develop cross media communication and marketing skills.
This team member will be responsible for the coordination, implementation and management of marketing and communication strategies and an active participant in creating, facilitating, editing and providing quality control for marketing content development, production and distribution. Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask in a high output environment, while working to support a creative team is essential. The successful applicant will also self-driven and be able to work well in both an onsite and remote environment.
The applicant should have an understanding and acceptance of the mission, vision and Statement of Faith of Back to the Bible Canada, be accepting to the diversity of people, be open to learning new skills and be able to take personal initiative, accept direction, and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Supervision: CEO / Marketing and Comm. Director
The successful applicant will work under the direction of an Executive leadership team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement and coordinate Marketing and Communication strategies and action plans.
With leadership team and relevant supports, implement marketing and communication strategies and plans that support fundraising and audience content engagement.
Project management
- Ensure that all marketing and communications projects follow standard project management best practices and are completed on time effectively utilizing all organizational resources.
Communication/Marketing content development and production
- Support the development of a marketing content plan as well as ensure the creation of all necessary content to support marketing and communications strategy objectives. Including:
- Sourcing content from BTTBC ministry activities
- Ensure the quality of all content outputs
- Assessing content performance against key success measures
- Share and apply insight with team to improve content performance
Supervision Responsibilities:
Coordinate and Document Bi-weekly Communications and Marketing meetings
Coordinate and facilitate weekly Creative Team Meetings
Participate as required in Monthly Executive meetings
Oversee, track and drive all Marketing and Communication related projects
Skills:
- Formal education or experience in Communications and Marketing field
- Experience in project management
- Highly organized and able to effectively and efficiently coordinate and facilitate ministry projects and activities
- Deep appreciation for Christian ministry activities
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Ability to ensure high quality, creative, content production
- Commitment to learning and development for self and organization
- Good familiarity with Office 365 and project management software
- Works well in remote as well as office environment
- Highly motivated, self-managing and excellent team builder
- Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Landed Immigrant or equivalent)
