Overview: The Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the Vice President of Trade & Market Development.
Reporting to the President, the ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep passion for the produce industry and a proven track record of driving growth while cultivating relationships within both domestic and international fresh fruit and vegetable markets.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, international relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in trade development, international business, agri-food, supply chains or related fields, focusing on agriculture or specifically on produce.
- Understanding of trade regulations and market access requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and sustaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills, with the capacity to design and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
- Experience in policy advocacy and government relations is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Language skills: English required, French and Spanish proficiency an asset.
