The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for leading complex and cross-functional marketing projects and campaigns crucial to Empire's strategic objectives. You will play a pivotal role in orchestrating marketing projects, focusing on the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects across both on and offline channels, working with internal resources, cross-functional teams, and external agency partners.

This role is located at our Empire Canada Head Office in Vaughan, ON.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Post-secondary education in related field
  • 3+ years' experience in a project management capacity; prior experience in marketing agency environment an asset
  • Project Management certification an asset

Bonus If You Have These Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience using Asana
  • Prior Brand Management, 360 Campaign Management, or Account Management experience

What You'll Be Doing Each Day

  • Project Coordination and Execution:
  • Create clear and attainable project scope, objectives, and requirements by leading the initiation, planning, controlling, monitoring, execution, and closing of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Request Intake and Triage:
  • Efficiently receive and assess incoming marketing requests, using project management platform while allocating tasks to appropriate team members based on roles and responsibilities
  • Effective Communication:
  • Keep stakeholders informed, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on projects while navigating the corporate landscape with finesse and diplomacy
  • Marketing and Tech:
  • Understand entire marketing funnel, from lead generation to conversion under digital and offline marketing/advertising campaigns and navigate complexities of web development, execution, and digital advertising
