Position Overview:

KGMS is a Primary to Grade 12 co-educational Special Education School located in the Maplewood neighbourhood of North Vancouver. We provide specialized education that supports students with diverse learning needs. Our school community is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with the Director of Advancement and the Director of Marketing and Communications to create and execute a multi-channel strategy focusing on stakeholder engagement, awareness, driving admissions and fundraising.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Web Design: Manage and update the School's website content and design, ensuring it's user-friendly.
  • Graphic Design: Create graphics for social media, website, flyers and other promotional material that effectively communicate the School's message.
  • Content Creation: Support in the creation of high-quality content (written and visual) that respectfully communicates the unique experiences of KGMS students
  • Social Media Management: Support in the creation and maintenance of social media scheduling and calendar.
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution KGMS community and fundraising events.

Qualifications:

  • Currently a student
  • Working knowledge of web design using the WordPress platform
  • Graphic design experience using Canva or Creative Cloud
  • Experience with social media strategy and scheduling
  • SEO and pixel tracking knowledge an asset
  • Able to work collaboratively

This role will be offered $21.00/hour
