The Marketing and Content Intern supports the overarching marketing strategy for Minto Apartments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing marketing supporting to site and leasing teams, offline marketing project execution, assistance with content production, social media and reputation monitoring, and reporting.

The Marketing and Content Intern will contribute to the enhancement of the customer experience through a data driven and creative approach, which will ultimately ensure business objectives are met, if not exceeded.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide marketing execution support for Minto Apartments including social media initiatives, and content execution for various offline and print channels to support overall business objectives
  • Assist with content creation for website, social media, events and other offline initiatives
  • Assist with event execution
  • Reputation and social media monitoring, tracking and circulation
  • Input on briefing documents, project plans, campaign post mortems, proposals and presentations
  • Compile data and prepare demographic, trends and industry reports
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management

We would like you to have:

  • University Degree or College Diploma (Business, Marketing, or related field). Experience is considered an asset
  • Strong content and copywriting skills for various channels including social media, website, email, printed collateral and blog
  • Strong graphic design skills with ability to use tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva
  • Driven, energetic and goal-oriented
  • Well-organized with strong attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Data-driven thinking with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Energetic, goal-oriented, and passionate about marketing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and listening skills
  • Creative and can bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to learn and work in digital analytic platforms e.g. CMS, Google Analytics, Adobe and Photoshop/InDesign, Siteimprove, Adestra, Yardi
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
