With over 20 years in the industry, the label is home to a diverse roster and has developed some of Canada's most renowned artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Theory of A Deadman, Dallas Smith, Marianas Trench, Coleman Hell, JoJo Mason and many more. We are seeking a Marketing Strategist to join our team.

This role requires a person who is creative, organized, and attentive to detail. You have a love for all things related to engagement, social media, and entertainment marketing. You are well versed in content optimization. You are up to date with best practices around social media posting and advertising. You are also a team player who will approach our marketing meetings with plenty of ideas and a well-organized content calendar. You MUST love MUSIC! Core responsibilities include: creation of digital marketing strategies, social media management, day to day content strategy, email marketing, copywriting, SEO, website upkeep, online engagement growth, youtube strategy, brand marketing and relationship building, influencer campaign management, and campaign reporting.

Tasks :

  • Create innovative content strategies to maximize existing content, create content and repropose original commissions
  • Write short-term digital marketing and content strategies for specific campaigns (i.e. album releases, live shows etc.) in collaboration with Project Managers
  • Manage daily content calendars
  • Set and achieve campaign-specific objectives & KPIs
  • Create and execute social media plans
  • Create short form content (release teasers, reels, tik toks)
  • Research, forge relationships and execute branding endorsements
  • Website upkeep (updating tour dates, song releases, brand refresh when necessary)
  • Email marketing campaign management
  • Coordinate paid ad campaigns (trueview, meta, pinterest, and tiktok)
  • Work within campaign budgets and reconcile spends
  • Monitor engagement and platform growth
  • Community management / monitoring
  • Staying on top of industry trends / researching upcoming platforms
  • Collect creative assets from A/V team & Project Managers and/or creation of assets and copywriting as needed
  • Creation of campaign performance reports

Full-time position, available to start immediately. The approximate base pay range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000. The actual base pay will be based on various factors including the candidate's level of skills, experience, and education aligned with the needs of the role, budget, and market.
