As a senior member of the Brand & Customer Marketing team, the Manager, Brand Marketing will play a vital role in leading the team responsible for the brand strategy and top of funnel marketing efforts for the TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods portfolio of services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and execution of all brand strategy efforts including messaging development, creative themes, top-of-funnel campaigns and event management
  • Translating overall business unit objectives and targets into goals and plans for the Brand Marketing team
  • Working in collaboration with the Agribusiness & Consumer Goods Marketing teams to build compelling messaging, content and creative that resonates with audiences
  • Overseeing the strategic management and optimization of our event marketing activations with a customer-journey focused approach
  • Overseeing the efficient, self-serve management of brand standards and trademark compliance
  • Regularly engaging a wide range of stakeholders across sales, product marketing, product and customer success to develop strategies, plans and processes that drive continual feedback, buy-in and collaboration between sales and marketing throughout the funnel
  • Managing weekly and monthly reporting on KPI's to senior-level stakeholders across the organization. Developing action plans accordingly
  • Managing our ongoing relationships and support models with key creative partner agencies
  • Supporting the harmonization of acquired brands and teams into the larger Marketing and Revenue Operations team
  • Driving team engagement and professional development of members of the Digital Promotions and larger Brand & Customer marketing team
  • Building processes, tools and ways of working that support high-quality, efficient and collaborative work across the sales, marketing, product and customer success teams
  • Judiciously managing the expenditures and ROI of the marketing budget

You're the missing puzzle piece:

  • 10+ years experience in a marketing communications related role
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven expertise driving results in a B2B environment
  • Experience influencing decision making across diverse business teams, along with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and action plans
  • Must be comfortable with autonomy, able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects with extreme attention to detail and organisation
  • A collaborator who can work cross-functionally - role requires substantial relationship management both internal and external to the business unit
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to evaluate ideas against business needs and success criteria
  • Ability to simplify complex issues and proven track record of developing highly effective executive communications
  • Experience influencing decision making across diverse business teams
  • Experience in the Agriculture or Consumer Goods industries considered an asset
  • Marketing experience in a SaaS role considered an asset
