The Area Sales Director is responsible for leading & managing a high-performing regional sales team to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance customer engagement within the aesthetics industry. This role requires fluency in both French & English to effectively support clients and team members across bilingual markets. The Director will develop and execute strategic sales plans, provide coaching and mentorship to team members, & foster a results-driven, collaborative culture. A key focus of this role is ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, clinics, and aesthetic professionals. Leveraging deep industry knowledge and leadership expertise, the Area Sales Director plays a vital role in expanding brand presence and achieving long-term business success across the region.

1. Regional Sales Leadership:

Lead, coach, and develop field associates to exceed revenue targets and deliver consistent performance across the region.

2. Strategic Account Planning & Execution:

Shape and execute strategic plans that drive share penetration, brand adoption, and competitive positioning.

3. Customer Engagement:

Cultivate relationships with top customers and C-suite consolidators, key accounts, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivering exceptional value.

4. Market Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats to inform strategic accounts and regional strategy, seeking opportunities

for expansion.

5. Performance Management:

Track KPIs and performance metrics across the region, driving accountability and course correction where needed.

6. Sales Enablement & Execution:

Ensure optimal use of CRM tools, data insights, and sales resources to support field execution and business planning.

7. Cross-Functional Partnership:

Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, and other stakeholders to drive aligned go-to-market initiatives.

8. Business Development:

Identify and activate new business opportunities within the region, leveraging both direct and channel partners

9. Reporting & Insights:

Deliver clear, actionable updates to senior leadership on regional performance, pipeline health, and strategic risks or opportunities.

10. Business Hygiene

Ensure full compliance of all business hygiene related activities to include (but not limited to): expense reporting, entering calls in Merz

CRM System, online module training, call recording, sample reporting and management for themselves and their respective team

Performs related functions and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned to include, but not limited to, working cross functionally and

with designated counterparts from other Merz divisions.

12. Travel

Frequent travel required across the assigned region.
