This is a part-time (40-80 hours per month) on-site role located in Calgary, AB for a Field Marketing & Community Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for market planning, field marketing activities, lead generation, and executing communication strategies. The role includes engaging in sales activities and fostering community connections through promotional events and campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in brand marketing, community engagement, events, or sales (CPG or food/beverage preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with tools like Canva, Meta Suite, Shopify
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs for event setup
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for off-site events (a must!)
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • A deep appreciation for chai, food culture, and community-driven storytelling

Key Responsibilities

We're hiring a Community & Brand Specialist who will lead the charge in both offline and online engagement. In this role, you'll work closely with the founder to execute brand strategy, host demos and events, and manage our digital presence across key social platforms. You'll create meaningful in-person interactions and amplify them through compelling content and campaigns-bringing community-building to life both on the ground and online.

  • Conduct regular stock checks and merchandising at key retail partner locations
  • Plan and execute

in-store samplings and demos across Calgary and surrounding regions

  • Plan and co-host community events, networking mixers, and collaborative pop-ups at Chai Spice HQ
  • Lead Chai Spice's presence at local farmers markets and cultural events
  • Assist with the planning and rollout of a customer loyalty program to drive retention
  • Work closely with internal teams (design, content, photography) to ensure branded assets are event-ready
  • Manage event logistics, including setup, teardown, inventory, and visual presentation
  • Collect and report on event data, customer feedback, and brand engagement insights
  • Create and manage content calendars across

Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

  • Develop campaigns that bridge offline events with online engagement-e.g. recap reels, community spotlights
  • Capture and curate behind-the-scenes content from demos and events
  • Engage with our online community and monitor key trends and feedback
