Membership & Marketing Coordinator
Position Overview:
The Regina Warehouse Business Improvement District (RWBID) is looking for a highly organized and community-driven individual to fill the role of Membership & Marketing Coordinator. This position supports the engagement of local businesses and property owners, helps tell the story of the district through digital content, and provides key administrative support. It's a role that combines creativity, relationship-building, and attention to detail in a fast-paced and growing district.
Membership Engagement and Communications
The coordinator will maintain and update the membership database, helping to ensure all records are accurate and up to date. They will support ongoing outreach efforts, assist with onboarding new businesses, and help track member participation, feedback, and trends. This role contributes to building strong relationships by keeping members informed and involved through regular updates, newsletters, and district communications.
Marketing, Storytelling, and Digital Presence
With a focus on promoting the businesses and energy of the Warehouse District, this position manages the organization's social media platforms and helps create engaging content that captures the vibrancy of the area. From short videos and photos to business highlights and event promotion, the coordinator will produce digital materials that reflect the district's brand. They will also manage updates to the RWBID website to ensure information is current and relevant.
Events and Business Support
The coordinator will support the planning and execution of member-focused events such as mixers, community meetings, and special campaigns. They will help promote attendance, gather feedback, and support in-person engagement. This includes working with the Executive Director to provide clear communication around major initiatives like construction, city planning, or promotional programming.
Administrative and Financial Support
This role includes administrative responsibilities such as document preparation, scheduling, record-keeping, and correspondence. The coordinator will assist with invoice tracking, payment processing, and preparing reports for board meetings in coordination with the Executive Director and accounting staff. Office management tasks such as ordering supplies and organizing internal systems are also part of the role.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate has post-secondary education in communications, business administration, marketing, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in a similar role. Strong writing, content creation, and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency with social media platforms, Canva, Microsoft Office, and website content management systems (such as WordPress) is required. A team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting local businesses will set you up for success in this role.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position based in Regina, SK, with a flexible hybrid work environment. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events. Salary is commensurate with experience.
