Overall Position Accountability: The Vice President, Business Development supports key sales, marketing, and business development activities in alignment with firm strategy and account plans to generate new and ongoing business and drive customer satisfaction and retention. Reporting to the Chief Client Officer, the Vice President uses creative, dynamic, and customized sales strategies to acquire new clients in the large and medium-sized business space as well as look for new opportunities within existing customers to deliver a broader range of Felix services.

Core Job Responsibilities

? Leads key sales activity in support of firm sales and marketing strategy per account ownership. Contributes to the overall sales enablement and sales culture of the firm.

? Identifying, prospecting, generating, and developing potential sales leads via various sales techniques to key decision makers

? Monitoring the marketplace to identify business opportunities, engage decision-makers and ensure Felix is positioned to compete & offer a true "win-win" solution

? Consistently seeks new opportunities with new and/or current customers and prioritizes sales activities related to customer retention and expansion

? Collaboration with subject matter experts to craft specific talent solutions based on customer needs and Felix offerings

? Leading or partnering in the development of proposals, including solution pricing, product information and service differentiators, in an efficient manner

? Delivering compelling and persuasive on-site or virtual sales presentations to potential customers leveraging industry-specific knowledge (supported by core team)

? Effective sales pipeline management - moving opportunities through the sales process from lead through to contract

? Actively manages and monitors the CRM tool to ensure productivity

? Performing all other necessary sales activities as required

? Contributes to the growth and development of the firm through identification and planning of future sales strategies, products, and industry insights.

? Supports the continuing development of a sales culture - enabling sales (strategic sales meetings, tracking)

? Provides recommendations on future opportunities (forward looking) sales initiatives (tracking, analysis, reporting)

? Optimizes the use of sales & marketing tools and resources (campaigns, content, sales activities, CRM lead)

Key Competencies & Qualifications

? A self-starter who takes initiative and looks for opportunities to develop partnerships with clients and improve/excel our business

? An accomplished sales performer with a track record of exceeding sales targets

? Possesses a strong network and a general understanding of corporate structures including how to reach the decision maker, qualifying, overcoming objections, and securing sales meetings

? Experience selling professional services, specifically talent management solutions

? Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced team environment exhibiting flexibility and strong work ethic

? Demonstrates a collaborative, win-win sales approach and contributes to a strong sales culture

? Great communication skills with an ability to listen, influence and sell both in person, via video conferencing or over the phone

? Strong sales aptitude & closing techniques

? Results oriented, self-driven, passion for success

? Excellent organizational and time management skills

? Experience with CRM tools and knowledge of sales process tracking
