Our Yellowknife office is currently seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director of Operations the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support in all operational areas.
Our ideal teammates are self-motivated, well organized, detailed oriented, eager to tackle challenges, and have exceptional time management and interpersonal skills. Applicants must be able to operate in a team environment but also have the ability to work semi-independently.
The Role
- Supporting the departments role in the overall staff/client experience
- Liaising with clients, vendors, and internal staff to relay information, schedule appointments and support business operations
- Managing inventory and orders, facilities and coordinating equipment maintenance
- Maintaining and organizing files, records, and documents in digital and physical formats for easy access and retrieval
- Preparing expense reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with internal time & billing systems and procedures
- Ensuring confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information, company records and financial documents
- Supporting special projects and initiatives
- Preparing reports, presentations and spreadsheets be compiling data and formatting information in a clear, efficient and professional manner
What You Will Bring
- Office or Business Administration Certificate/Diploma program
- 2-3 years of work experience in an office environment
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage time, energy and priorities to ensure productive days at work
- Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively
- Ability to mentor junior level staff and delegate tasks
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other relevant software
