Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join our growing Support Centre Team!

POSITION OVERVIEW:

A Marketing and Social Media Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing efforts of an organization.

This is a fully remote position.

Main Responsibilities

Assist and Support Marketing Directives of Neighbourly:

  • As per the direction of the Company and team lead
  • Social Media Management:
  • Create and schedule content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to comments or messages.
  • Implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive traffic.
Content Creation:
  • Generate creative and engaging content, including text, images, and videos.
  • Write and edit blog posts, articles, and other written materials.
  • Ensure content is aligned with the brand's voice and marketing goals.
Campaign Support:
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to implement strategies across different channels.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze social media and website metrics.
  • Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and make data-driven recommendations.
Community Engagement:
  • Foster and engage with the online community to build brand loyalty.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers or partners for marketing initiatives.
Customer Support:
  • Address customer inquiries and feedback on social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve issues effectively.
Market Research:
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
SKILLS:
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and their features.
  • Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with online audiences.
  • Ability to convey the brand message clearly and consistently.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive insights to improve strategies.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools for social media and website metrics.
  • Excellent organizational skills in managing content schedules and campaigns.
  • Ability to adapt to changing trends and algorithms on social media.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking for developing engaging and shareable content.
  • Ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing strategies.
  • Comfortable using social media management tools and other marketing software.
  • Collaborative attitude to work effectively with the marketing team and other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 1-year experience using Adobe Suite and Canva, Meta Business Manager, and Ads Manager.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite including PowerPoint is an asset.
