Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Collaborate with HR teams and hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.

  • Conduct proactive sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent.
  • Develop a pipeline of diverse candidates using innovative marketing tools, professional networks, systems, and processes.
  • Support the implementation and sustainability of the talent acquisition strategies including talent sourcing, candidate experience and employer branding.
  • Represent NFI Group of companies at career, college and recruitment fairs and similar events.
  • Report and analyze recruitment metrics to recommend improvements to recruitment process.
  • Support regional HR recruitment teams as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition with a proven track record of sourcing and attracting qualified candidates.
  • Experience sourcing a diverse set of candidates from a variety of programs, platforms, events, etc.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with ability to connect and communicate with people of varying backgrounds, job positions, cultures, and communicative preferences.
  • Skilled at organizing events/programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Canada and the US.
  • Detail oriented with experience reporting and analyzing data.
  • Accountable for quality of work output to meet targets.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Less than 10% of travel is required in this position.
