DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Senior Specialist, Marketing Systems & Data. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our trading and marketing operations by providing analytical expertise, facilitating system enhancements, and ensuring seamless integration between IT solutions and business needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support marketing front office, mid-office, back office on day-to-day Trading & Marketing system related queries
• Write SQL queries for automatic reports and collaborate with IT for system enhancements
• Act as a liaison between IT and business, facilitating solution design discussions and assisting in implementation
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and assist in the testing of new strategic systems or automatic solutions
• Lead various initiatives from conception to resolution, ensuring successful project outcomes
• Investigate queries via databases using raw SQL and recommend best solutions considering business needs
• Troubleshoot automatic reports and system issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Prioritize bug fixes and enhancements, working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams
• Collaborate with IT & the business to solution how new lines of businesses will be captured in various systems
• Write business cases and document detailed requirements for automatic solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA in Oil & Gas or related field - considered an asset
• SCRUM Master Certification and Product Owner Certification
• 5+ years of experience in IT

SKILLS:

• Proficiency in SQL
• Familiarity with Microsoft application suites
• Strong business acumen and understanding of trading and marketing systems
• 2+ years of experience working with Trading & Marketing Systems
