POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at SimpleSurvey, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding our customer base targeting high-value customers. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, building strong relationships with potential clients, and engaging in the delivery of services. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on achieving sales targets and contributing to the company's overall success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Generation: Identify and prospect potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, emailing, social media, and networking events.
- Qualification: Qualify leads to ensure they meet the criteria for potential customers based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
- Consultative Selling: Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, challenges, and goals, and position our software and services as solutions that can address their needs effectively.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and value propositions of our survey and voting software, highlighting how it can meet the prospect's specific requirements.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by accurately tracking all interactions, follow-ups, and progress with leads using CRM software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, product team and other stakeholders to coordinate strategies, share insights, and optimize lead generation efforts.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with potential customers to understand their evolving needs, maintain ongoing communication, and position our company as a trusted partner.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and strategies for business development.
- Service Delivery: Work with customers to understand their needs and deliver turnkey services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as Teams and other online meeting platforms.
- A passion for technology, innovation, and helping clients achieve success through effective solutions.
- Bilingual (EN/FR, spoken, written). Fluency of the English language is essential for this position.
