Description

Lusomé is seeking a Director of Sales to support both the strategic and tactical needs of our growth initiatives. This is a critical hire for Lusomé as this role will be directly responsible for reaching our revenue growth objectives. The position will require someone who understands how to navigate a start-up environment, and be scrappy and persistent in driving new business will nurturing current base of accounts.

The ideal candidate has a sales generating mindset every day and have the skills to develop, lead, and manage a team of sales professionals. The candidate must have a track record in driving sales with winning teams.

The Director of Sales will support the overall strategy, agreed upon by the Leadership Team, and drive revenue in alignment with the values and strategy of the business. The Director plays a pivotal role in planning, recruiting, and directing the sales representatives of SOMÉ and leading the sales representatives to achieve sales targets and ultimately drive revenue for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and tactical execution to achieve the annual revenue and profit targets of the business.
  • Actively target new B2B customers to drive all categories of sleep tech at Lusomé
  • Identify the large, medium and independent wholesale prospects throughout North America but prioritizing the US market.
  • Develop clear incentive programs for sales representatives to encourage sales teams to deliver results.
  • Identify market opportunities to get our brand in front of buyers; Trade shows, trade magazines, B2B online platforms etc.
  • Utilize CRM tool Pipe Drive to manage and report on progress.
  • Establish KPIs to drive consistency and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to deliver compelling programs to the B2B community to ensure success at the retail level.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 year's experience in senior sales director level.
  • Able to shift between sales ?strategy? and hands-in-the-dirt tactics (e.g., overcoming objections, follow-up sequences, scripting).
  • Cold calling and constant follow up.
  • Track record of exceptional sales ability
  • Exceptional sales coaching skills with the ability to influence behavioral change.
  • Experience overseeing sales technology implementation to streamline sales pipeline.
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Able to understand and analyze metrics.

Note: this position will require the candidate to travel to the US and throughout Canada, based on the needs of the role.
