Our extensive range includes PVC windows and doors crafted in Canada, aluminium systems and high-quality metal-plastic windows sourced from Europe.

In light of our company's expansion, we are eager to identify the ideal candidate-a self-motivated sales expert preferably with a background in the door and window industry (experience in outside sales is highly advantageous). Essential attributes for this role include a personable demeanour, exceptional communication skills, keen attention to detail, adept time management, a proactive approach to prioritization, and the ability to swiftly and accurately process information.

The Outside Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving and securing new business opportunities within both the commercial and residential real estate sectors. Key responsibilities encompass nurturing relationships with prospective buyers and clients to foster continuous growth and capitalize on repeat business prospects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prospecting and Account Growth: Actively seek out new customers to expand the account base, focusing on B2C relationships.

1. Quoting: Utilize expertise to interpret blueprints, conduct takeoffs based on customer measurements, and generate accurate quotes for projects.

2. Presentation: Articulate the features and benefits of various products and services to customers, delivering comprehensive quotes and project descriptions.

3. Sales Achievement: Strive to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high closing ratio, ensuring continued business growth.

Margin Management: Take ownership of maintaining predetermined discount levels to uphold profitability standards.

4. Customer Satisfaction: Uphold the company's outstanding reputation for customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service throughout the sales process.

5. Product Service: Take proactive steps to initiate and manage service work, contributing to the maintenance of high service standards.

6. Returns Management: Minimize product returns by ensuring accurate orders and addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively.

7. Delivery Coordination: Manage delivery schedules effectively to facilitate accurate forecasting of labour and delivery demands, ensuring timely project completion.

8. Client Engagement: Engage with walk-in clients, assess their needs, and guide them towards suitable solutions, nurturing relationships to drive sales.

9. Transportation Requirement: Maintain reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license to facilitate client visits and operational needs.

These duties and responsibilities are crucial for achieving success in the role of Sales Representative, contributing to the growth and reputation of Smart Windows Company while delivering exceptional service to customers.

MEETING ATTENDANCE AND WORK HOURS

Regular meetings will be conducted with the owner(s) and other management to review essential metrics and outcomes.

Attendance is mandatory for all sales meetings, company-wide gatherings, and other scheduled events, including designated showroom coverage days.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

A minimum of two years of experience in window and door sales is highly advantageous.

Prior experience in building material sales is beneficial.

Demonstrated proficiency in outside sales is required.

Familiarity with quoting software and general computer literacy is preferred.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a determined focus on achieving success.

Experienced in using CRM systems, particularly SalesForce.

Strong organizational and prioritization abilities are essential.

Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.

Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Possesses strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain client relationships effectively.

Detail-oriented, quick learner, adept at multitasking, and highly organized.

Possession of a degree or diploma is considered an asset.

A robust total compensation package will be offered; however, details will only be disclosed during interviews.
