Digital Marketing Specialist, International Accreditation

Terms: Full-time permanent

Salary: Commensurate with experience

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Digital Marketing Specialist works primarily with the International Accreditation (IA) Business Unit to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns aligned with HSO's strategic plan and global audience needs - with the ultimate goal of driving business through lead generation. The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director, International Growth and plays an integral role in executing campaign activities based on market needs and corporate alignment. The role includes the development of innovative digital and marketing content aligned to product releases, activities, client achievements and more - leveraging corporate branding, supporting international events and reporting on impactful results using metrics.

This Specialist will also support the Enterprise Communications team as the lead coordinator of enterprise social media channels 25% of the time. You will foster innovation, customer intimacy and an understanding of digital storytelling across key HSO and Accreditation Canada (AC) teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop and execute digital and marketing strategies and content to promote HSO/AC with a focus on international programs, services and activities with the ultimate goal to drive lead generation and sales.
  • Ongoing monitoring, analysis and evaluation of results of activities to recommend improvements and measure campaign effectiveness and Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Accelerate digital marketing expertise as part of product marketing initiatives by sharing digital best practices, processes and internal digital capabilities.
  • Lead campaign development and propose innovative ideas to achieve desired results.
  • Coordinate preparation of IA leadership for events and conferences, including preparation of power point presentations, communication with event organizers, etc.
  • Lead scheduling, posting, monitoring and reporting of Enterprise social media channels.
  • Handle advertising on social media for Communications campaigns.
  • Support complimentary content such as case studies, newsletter stories, client profiles and other materials to ensure alignment of key messaging across all campaign initiatives.
  • Engage in special projects under the leadership of the Executive Director and/or Directors in IA.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a related field, such as Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, communications, marketing automation or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience developing a targeted digital marketing program based on customer insights and market intelligence.
  • Experience in media plan development with a focus on digital media including social media.
  • Advanced technical skills related to digital marketing; creative and technical expertise evidenced through content development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead campaign and marketing initiatives including research, reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with ability to create effective messages to support the buyers' journey based on diverse ?inputs? of information and data.
  • Proven ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and captivating stories.
  • Customer focused with advanced digital literacy and experience with developing digital journeys.
  • Solid interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to plan and collaborate with other team members.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is strongly preferred.
  • Are agile, adaptable and accustomed to a high pace environment.
  • Knowledge of HSO's five-year strategy, products, programs and services is an asset.
