About the Position:

Reporting to the Vice President, the Marketing Manager is the leader of the marketing team and responsible for building the Bedrock Homes brand, supporting the sales team, managing the marketing, promotional and advertising activities for Bedrock Homes and affiliated divisions within Carrington Group.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development, management, and implementation of the company's marketing program.
  • Represent the company with the highest level of integrity, character, professionalism, and ethics.
  • Mentor and oversee the marketing team and coordinate daily activities.
  • Forecast, develop, update, and adhere to an annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Develop marketing and advertising strategies that drive traffic to sales centers, website, and social media channels.
  • Direct graphic design, advertisements, and content creation for traditional, on-line, and social media marketing.
  • Design, develop, and produce innovative and effective marketing materials including brochures, flyers, folders, sales sheets, and other print and web-based materials.
  • Coordinate and submit all industry awards and implementing accolades and recognition as part of the overall marketing strategy.
  • Plan and execute event-based marketing such as grand openings, promotional and customer appreciation events.
  • Undertake competitive analysis and stay current with industry trends and innovations.
  • Oversee the design, development and production of project specific marketing materials including billboards, flags, signage, marketing panels, phase maps, feature sheets, floor plan templates and other marketing materials specific to various community projects.
  • Ensure the quality and upkeep of all interior and exterior signage including billboards, flags, marketing panels and banners at each of the various communities.
  • Ensure consistency throughout each show home and sales center in terms of marketing materials.
  • Design and direct timely, cost effective, traditional and online advertising and collateral.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of on-going advertising campaign metrics.
  • Oversee website development, maintenance, and updates.
  • Maintain the integrity of the overall corporate and project brands through consistency in marketing, advertising, messaging, communications, print collateral and online materials.
Qualifications:
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in marketing with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Graphic design skills with strong knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop preferred.
  • Experience designing and/or maintaining websites preferred.
  • SEO and digital marketing experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
  • Valid class five (5) driver's license and personal reliable transportation is required.
  • Clean drivers abstract is required for the operation of company vehicles on public roadways.
Travel Requirements: Some travel is required to Red Deer, Calgary and BC region.
