We are seeking a Local Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating in-store events, local and national sponsorships, and supporting our 12 stores in local initiatives.

Working in collaboration with the brand manager and the marketing director, your involvement will include:

  • Activating a calendar of in-store events in Quebec and Ontario, such as clinics, conferences, trade shows, pro-staff visits, COOP activations, associations, and more;
  • Acting as a resource person for the stores, keeping them informed of all activities developed for them;
  • Assisting the 12 stores with their in-store events, local ambassador activations, and local sponsorships by providing them with the material and tools they need for successful activation;
  • Coordinating the deployment of all SAIL sponsorships and events, from installation to dismantling, in collaboration with the stores, employees and various internal and external partners (agency, ambassadors);
  • Working closely with the marketing team to create promotional material for each activation, and ensuring that the events are seamlessly integrated into SAIL's communications, website, and stores;
  • Coordinating in-store training for the Explore+ rewards program and any in-store initiatives related to the program;
  • Analyzing the performance of events, identifying and suggesting potential areas for optimization;
  • Analyzing and responding to donation and sponsorship requests submitted to SAIL;
  • Carrying out logistics and administrative follow-up tasks related to events, including budgeting, insurance, inventory of promotional materials, contest management, reservations, etc.
  • Ensuring that all events align with the SAIL brand and corporate objectives.

Profile sought:

  • University degree in marketing, communications, or a related field;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in event organization and activation (agency experience an asset);
  • Valid driver's license for occasional travel throughout Quebec and Ontario;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English to support our Ontario business units;
  • Analytical mind, attention to detail and excellent sense of organization;
  • Interest in hunting and fishing.
