Job Summary:

The VP of Marketing will coordinate and develop marketing policies, programs, and campaigns.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, hire and train supervisory and management staff in the department.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees and in accordance with company policy.
  • Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Collaborate, participate in, and coordinate promotional activities or trade shows.
  • Negotiate contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
  • Conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.
  • Direct and implement the organization's advertising and promotional activities.
  • Analyze target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Identify new market segments that will benefit from company products.
  • Prepare effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging products and services.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
  • Forecast, draft, implement and oversee the department operating budget.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
  • At least ten years of experience in a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in B2B Marketing
  • Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets.
  • Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
