Here's how a Marketing and Communications Specialist for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:

• Develops an IT content marketing strategy for PCL's external communications platforms.
• Contributes content to PCL's website and PCL's social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Glassdoor).
• Creates both written and visual content for PCL's external marketing channels, works closely with the Creative Services team to meet video and graphic design requirements.
• Generates storytelling opportunities to help promote PCL's innovation/technology brand.
• Provides strategic communications consultation on company-wide initiatives.
• Develop effective communications plan and deliver on tactics.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and media.
• Contribute to the overall strategic communication planning and implementation of key initiatives.
• Lead projects; this includes coordinating deliverables with a team of individuals (creating a project plan, overseeing budget, etc.).
• Understand PCL's brand and apply branding (language and visual elements) to communications pieces.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., communications, marketing, or public relations).
• Strong project management and time management skills.
• Writes compelling content that can be adapted for a variety of mediums.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and mitigates risks; experience in issues management considered an asset.
