You have a passion for PC®, points and pursuing the details? This Social Media Content Manager role will lead the PC Financial and PC Optimum portfolios. This role is an integral part of our newly created enterprise Social Media Centre of Excellence (SCOE), as they bridge the Creative team with our internal business partners. We're looking for someone who brings fresh content ideas around personal finance, hacks and earning all the points. But they also need to be able to dig into the details and ideate for a new media plan or strategy. Please note that we are currently only accepting candidates who reside in the Greater Toronto Area.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Excellent knowledge of Social creative content for our various pillars - finance, loyalty, etc. with an ability to contribute to brainstorming concepts and executions for the creative team
  • Expert in storytelling and bringing key initiatives to life for corporate brands (package ideas, weave in trends, seek out newness, etc.) as well as pitching initiatives (big and small) for our social communities
  • Manage workflow of process for Content Team - ensuring timelines, work back schedules, versioning, approvals are being met
  • Attend all briefings and update meetings, as well as ensuring final approvals on all assets
  • Pitch, present and champion the best ideas & concepts to our business partners
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and develop relationships with Brand teams/LA/Media Team & external partners
  • Curious mindset to adapt and try new formats, platforms & ways of working
  • Must currently reside in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Post-secondary education in Social Media/Mixed Media, Communications or related studies
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills. You build strong relationships, becoming a trusted colleague by understanding our collective brands
  • Attention to detail, ability to deliver best-in-class work in a fast-paced environment, excellent file organization and ability to follow processes and ask targeted questions
  • Highly motivated, self-managed individual with strong time management skills, and an ability to prioritize, communicate, and maintain deadlines; you understand the importance of developing project management expertise and thrive in a complex and rapidly changing environment with tight timelines
  • Positive and proactive approach to problem-solving with your team and stakeholders
  • Ability to write crisp, clean and compelling social copy is an asset
