COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Our client, a renowned residential builder with over 45 years leading the industry is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their growing team. As the Marketing Specialist you will play pivotal role in executing marketing strategies aligned with residential building and development, and corporate marketing initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Direct external agency partners to align marketing material (advertising, promotional materials, signage, point-of-sale collateral, and digital communications) with brand and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to plan, develop and execute marketing project goals.
  • Guide impactful public relations, sponsorship, and community campaigns.
  • Lead event coordination, including planning, execution, and permit applications.
  • Assist in executing digital strategies (aid and organic) for corporate and project brands, including content curation and social media planning and management.
  • Monitor and manage brand communications across various channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Reviews and Twitter) to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Capture engaging content from various sources, such as project sites and events, to enhance brand presence.
  • Track the competitive landscape including monitoring industry trends and competitor strategies.
  • Craft and refine copy for various channels.
  • Update corporate and project websites.
  • Analyse registration data, e-blast metrics, and digital campaigns to generate performance reports.
  • Draft and format correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documentation with MS Office suite.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in public relations, real estate marketing, or digital environments.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad words, SEO/SEM, Retargeting, and UX
  • Proficiency in MS Office to format correspondence, reports, presentations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Valid Ontario G Class license and vehicle for travel to project locations, sales offices, and events. (Occasional weekend and evening work, and the ability to lift approximately 50 lbs for event setup and teardown during events.)
