WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO FOR CCO?

• Create posts, captions, graphics, and visual content (videos, reels) for social media as dictated by the social media calendar
• Coordinates with Movement Stakeholders to build a social media calendar.
• Engaging with followers through comments, direct messages, growing their engagement with the movement
• Create Social Media posts, captions, graphics, and visual content (videos, reels) for social media posts as dictated by the social media calendar.
• Prepare regular reports to share highlights and growth of CCO's social media and areas for improvement

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

We're looking for people who have:

• Familiarity with CCO nationally and at the local campus level
• Passion for creating social media content
• Advanced to expert-level skills with Instagram and Facebook
• Strong Written communication skills
• Familiarity with Meta business suite is an asset
• Ability to work independently & remotely

POSITION CRITERIA:

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: 1

CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time (Variable)

DEPARTMENT: Program Support - Media & Marketing Team

REPORTS TO: Media & Marketing Manager

LOCATION: CCO National Headquarters in Ottawa with possibility of working remotely

WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal Office Conditions or Home office
