As the Senior Writer, Corporate Communications, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and consult with senior leaders, communications consultants, and business partners to deliver creative content solutions that inspire action. You will support and develop executive leadership content, including but not limited to, reports, speeches, presentation notes, media articles, and video scripts. You will help develop corporate messages, narratives, and materials in the brand voice. You will consult with the writing and Consultant teams on a day-to-day basis to coach, provide guidance, feedback, enhance engagement, and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance team efficiencies. You will need to be a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, and bring writing and content development best practices to every engagement.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE IMPACT:

  • The ability to understand complex subject matter and distill it into communications that are simple and easy to understand.
  • Craft well-written copy that is clear and concise across all channels, ensuring key messaging is client centric, insights led, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Present and articulate concepts to internal partners. Proactively develop content plans and make informed and insightful recommendations.
  • Work closely with the writing and consultant teams to help them craft and write content across multiple platforms for both internal and external audiences, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all messaging and to established brand guidelines.
  • Coach and provide direction/feedback to other content developers on topic, style, and tone of voice to ensure work is of the highest quality.
  • Juggle multiple projects (multitask), prioritize, and meet rigorous deadlines while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, in all assignments.

TO JOIN OUR TEAM:

  • You have 7+ years of experience writing in a corporate environment or advertising agency.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to reach the hearts and minds of audiences through compelling storytelling.
  • You have a post-secondary degree or equivalent in Journalism, Copywriting, or Communications.
  • You have superior formatting skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and PowerPoint.
  • You have impeccable spelling, grammar, and editing skills.
  • You have experience with media across a variety of mediums, including print, digital, TV/video, radio, etc.
  • A working knowledge of French is an asset but not a requisite.
  • You have strong portfolio of work.
