Core Responsibilities

As the Marketing and Communications Lead, you will work both remotely and at our West Vancouver office located on the Squamish Nation Reserve, acting as project lead to deliver consistent high quality and professional client service in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overall Corporate Branding, Marketing, PR and Communications Strategy and Execution
  • Research, plan, create and implement communication and engagement strategies to support client projects, programs, events, and campaigns
  • Plan, write and assemble pursuit proposals and business development activities
  • Plan, structure, write, edit, and produce various documents including, but not limited to: fact sheets, reports, newsletters, presentations, video scripts, displays, web copy, social media, news releases, and other publications
  • Develop, monitor and evaluate digital strategies for both company and client projects
  • Oversee research to support policy or program development and stakeholder engagement initiatives
  • Develop and design marketing collateral
  • Manage related vendors
  • Design and enable sales strategies and track their KPI
  • Perform administrative and other related job duties

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical, complex information into clear and plain language
  • Demonstrated experience with graphic design, web design and/or video production
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, fulfil client requests on short notice, work on multiple tasks and adapt to change
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, SharePoint, Canva, Wix
  • Public sector experience and knowledge of Municipal, Regional and/or Provincial Government projects would be an asset
  • Experience with search engine optimization, CRM software, and KPI tracking and analytics
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills
  • Natural relationship builder, demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Detailed oriented and accurate in execution, ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Strong EQ and interpersonal skills is a must
  • Ability to use good judgement and show initiative
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment, maintains a positive frame of mind and sets an example of professionalism for other employees
  • Marketing experience in constructions, manufacturing, architecture or real estate would be a strong asset
  • Experience in corporate branding, communications, and public relations
  • Natural eye for design and interest in architecture
  • A valid BC Driver's License is not required but is a strong asset as there may be local travel
