The E-commerce Marketing Manager is responsible for meeting online sales targets for Sprottmoney.com/.ca through the implementation of ongoing site and mobile optimizations to improve the buying experience, support product launches and drive targeted marketing campaigns. Targets include new client acquisition, increasing revenue, client retention and client satisfaction.

Furthermore, the E-commerce Marketing Manager is directly responsible for defining the strategy and execution of online merchandising, content and user experience to drive revenue and acquisition for Sprott Money products. He/she is also responsible for analyzing data on a continual basis and providing recommendations to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities :

· Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic to the company website and social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Reddit.

· Gain a deep understanding of the target customer and optimize accordingly.

· Plan and manage digital advertising campaigns, including, but not limited to Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads and other relevant platforms, to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.

· Continuously oversee and enhance the SEO performance of the website.

· Create and manage engaging content for our website and social media channels, including blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics to attract and retain customers.

· Oversee and manage email marketing campaigns and weekly newsletters.

  • Ensure that the website presentation properly merchandises products.

· Improve, manage and optimize our e-commerce website, working directly with our website development team.

· Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the success of digital marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions for optimization.

· Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities in the digital space.

· Create monthly marketing reports, provide analysis and recommendations to management.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and website developers, to ensure alignment and integration of digital marketing efforts with overall business goals, like meeting sales targets and new product opportunities.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and continuously identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

· Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Marketing, or related degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with e-commerce, digital marketing, website merchandising, online promotions and e-commerce optimization required
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Experience with Magento e-commerce platform, or similar e-commerce CMS platforms
  • Strong strategic thinking capability; ability to anticipate future trends and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Experience with email marketing, and MailChimp, or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Proficient with Google Analytics and other analytics software for web marketing analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, with strong time management skills
  • Knowledge of mobile e-commerce required
  • Experience with website creative, writing and development processes
  • Digital advertising experience specifically in SEO and paid search marketing.
  • Direct response marketing, online display advertising, and email campaign experience required

Experience in financial markets and/or precious metals is required.

This is a full-time, in-office position at our offices located in Toronto, Ontario.
