The Role:

The Markeiting Director is a highly motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy, creative problem-solving skills and commitment to a customer-insight driven approach. You lean-in to new marketing approaches have a track-record of designing promotional platforms that drive business impact. You are someone who can collaborate and communicate effectively in a matrix organization with significant interactions with Brand Marketing, Sales Leadership, Market Access, Medical, Thought Leader Liaison Leadership, Business Operations, Finance, Global Marketing and Senior North America Leadership.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

In partnership with Business Analytics and a diversity of sources, conduct market research to inform Customer Journey, Competitive Landscape analysis, and Positioning.

Define key value proposition and differentiation for HCPs. Align the HCP value proposition with the broader stakeholder audience, including market access, patients, medical, regulatory, and legal.

In partnership with Business Analytics, champion & synthesize HCP insights and pull through to insights-driven campaigns, initiatives, and tactics.

HCP STRATEGY & PROMOTIONAL PLATFORM

Build strategic core claims based on HCP stakeholder needs, and ensure alignment with clinical program, regulatory strategy and label, and real-world data plan to support key claims.

Champion, lead & work cross-functionally to develop a strong, differentiated branded HCP message platform, creative campaign, and core HCP promotional resources.

Lead the annual operating and tactical plan development process, focused on HCP strategy and activation.

Enhance sales force capabilities and develop innovative commercial strategies to ensure success in an evolving healthcare environment with innovative training initiatives.

Collaborate with the Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) Directors and agency partners in the development of content and collateral material for use by the TLL Field Team.

Collaborate in the design & implementation of omnichannel strategy & activities with a focus on HCPs. Provide leadership to define customer engagement goals & coordination of customer journey development, content creation, and journey orchestration, to deliver an enhanced Go-to-Market personalized channel and content experience.

Co-manage agency of record, ensuring clear and robust scopes of work, appropriate staffing, excellence in execution, and timely and efficient budget management.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Establish and maintain close partnership with sales team and TLLs to identify and provide solutions for gaps and opportunities related to customer needs, as well as to ensure sales input into commercial planning and harmonize all field communications including strategy and operational updates.

Work with the internal training team and external contract sales organization to develop, coordinate, and execute Field Sales Plan of Action (POA) meetings

Monitor and review business performance of sales teams and ensure actions are taken to achieve sales, profit, and market share within agreed budgets.

Track and manage program success metrics, including tracking criteria and KPIs to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

5-7 years of demonstrated success in a variety of marketing leadership roles of progressively greater scope and responsibility.

A track record of building, supporting, and implementing business strategies.

Understanding commercial planning, launching, and management of products.

Demonstrated operational skills.

Experience working collaboratively with cross-functionally.

Exceptional leadership skills with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface seamlessly with other parts of organization.

Holds self and others to a high degree of integrity, ethics, and accountability.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and/or another regulated industry and particularly the MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review process is preferred.
