We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager, to join our Vancouver team on an 18-19 month contract beginning mid April.

This position is for someone who is proactive with a strong work ethic, and can handle a busy workload alongside managing a small team. The ideal candidate will have a strong client service focus, the ability to multi-task, have solid organizational skills and excellent communication skills.

What you'll be doing:

  • Produce, edit and distribute proposal/information packages for clients and involved as needed, in gathering related information for RFP's;
  • Produce, edit and distribute marketing invites, brochures, advertisements, newsletters, client updates, presentation materials and other communications both web & print;
  • Coordinate and execute client seminars, cocktail receptions and various firm sponsored events either virtually or in-person;
  • Firm sponsorships & advertising opportunities and community involvement;
  • Plan and execute lawyer & partner retreats including hotels, food & beverage, meeting details, activities;
  • Oversee planning and execution of the firms Christmas & Summer parties;
  • Creating budgets and plans for approval for all firm functions;
  • Website updates/maintenance;
  • Generating/designing any LinkedIn/website posts or communications to the public;
  • Managing the firms subscription to Lexology - ensuring content is loaded and providing analytics to the appropriate lawyers/partners;
  • Business Cards - orders and re-designs;
  • Provide support and follow up within various business development meetings and the vertical leaders;
  • Involved in regular meetings with the global branding team to ensure we are creating a cohesive message;
  • Coordinate with Calgary & Ontario office to update on what functions Vancouver is doing to ensure unity between the offices;
  • Specialty Groups - provide assistance with placing lawyers into groups;
  • Database maintenance: updating contact info, notifying partners to send contacts, filtering through bounce back emails after email newsletters have been sent out and locating clients' new workplace emails;
  • Managing the firms seasons tickets;
  • Line management of the Marketing Assistant.

What you'll bring:

  • Graduate of a Marketing Diploma or Degree program;
  • Experience using Adobe illustrator and Photoshop;
  • Knowledge in graphic design;
  • Proficient with MS Teams and related project management apps, such as Task by Planner and others;
  • Technically savvy and experienced in social media platforms;
  • High level of initiative, and contribute ideas and best practices;
  • Excellent written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and multi-task while handling a high volume of work;
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Professional and polished attitude communicating with others;
  • Maintain a client-centered approach with the commitment to providing outstanding service;
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, and to adapt to changing demands.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 per annum, dependent on individual experience.
