Stone Creek Resorts is seeking candidates for a Marketing Coordinator position. This is an excellent career opportunity for the right individual to build marketing skills. Position Overview

We seek a highly qualified marketing coordinator who can contribute to existing programs while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company goals. You have strong experience managing multiple projects, including social media, email marketing, events and website content. Content marketing is your super strength. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. This position will collaborate closely with internal teams to support the delivery of key marketing programs across a multitude of channels.

This role works from our downtown Calgary, Alberta office.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Social Media Marketing - Create content, graphics and schedule regular posts on multiple channels that support the resorts. Be the moderator and voice of our brand.
  • Email Marketing - Create content, graphics and deploy emails on a regular predetermined schedule.
  • Website Maintenance - Ensure content is accurate and current on all website properties.
  • Event / Tradeshow Coordination
  • To promote the company and maintain its core brand identity, create and develop general copy for the website, social media, third-party listings, collateral, and email marketing.
  • Manage videography content for short-form and social reels and website content. Understand audio editing and be able to incorporate audio recordings into videos.
  • Manage digital photography and videography files and work to organize past files if necessary.
  • Brand Ambassador - Develop a deep understanding of our value proposition and unique differentiators of our service offerings.
  • Liaising with external consultants and freelancers as .
  • Day-to-day management of assigned marketing technology to support marketing activity including WordPress (blog posts and regular updates), Campaign Monitor, Loomly, Canva, and Asana.
  • Assist in identifying new opportunities and creating messaging, assets, and programs that help to bring our brand promise and guarantee to the marketplace.
  • Support resort staff in coordinating marketing needs.

To excel in the role, you should be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with ever-changing projects and priorities. You must also be able to self-direct. Contributing positively as a team member, utilizing critical thinking skills, and taking initiative are non-negotiable.

Knowledge, Expertise

  • A clear understanding of key
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain high ownership and accuracy in all activities.
  • Intermediate writing skills.
  • Proven experience with marketing project management and tactical delivery
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to work independently, creatively, and effectively.
  • Technologically savvy, notably cloud-based collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and CRM (HubSpot or Zoho).?
  • Ability to travel to our resort properties as needed.
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience.
  • Proven experience in a similar capacity is an asset.
