We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team, based in Toronto. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will play a critical role in helping our recruiters to fill open roles with qualified candidates. We are seeking a candidate who has exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize within a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time role that requires flexibility as the need arises for varied hours due to time zones across Canada.

Responsibilities :

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team and to create/update job postings and post jobs on a variety of platforms;
  • Support management of candidate pipeline via Applicant Tracking System (Workday); ensuring data remains accurate and up-to-date;
  • Schedule in-person or video-conference interviews;
  • Coordinate background checks for preferred candidates as part of the recruitment process;
  • Partner with broader HR team to ensure onboarding activities are coordinated in a seamless manner;
  • Support various recruitment initiatives and events;
  • Assist the team with creation of reports;
  • Assist with special HR projects as required.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • 1-2 years of coordination and/or recruitment experience, ideally within the financial services industry;
  • HR Diploma or bachelor's degree in related field is an asset;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with an understanding of confidentiality;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently;
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure;
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook); with the ability and willingness to learn new applications.
  • Experience with Workday would be an asset
  • Fluent in French would be an asset.
