JOB DESCRIPTION

The House of Commons' Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff and build a pool of qualified candidates for the Senior Digital Product Manager position.

As a leader in Digital Services and Real Property, you will be responsible for guiding a multidisciplinary team in the management, enhancement, and delivery of digital products and services that support the House of Commons. You will work with key stakeholders to define strategies, set priorities, and ensure the successful implementation of initiatives that enhance user experience and align with business objectives.

Your portfolio may include areas such as digital collaboration platforms, data management, Members' services, physical security and data centre and networking. You will oversee product roadmaps, resource allocation, risk management, and external partner relationships, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education?:

Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Business Administration, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience?:

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a technology-driven or comparable environment;
  • Experience defining and implementing strategies, roadmaps, and priorities for products and services;
  • Experience managing external partner relationships;
  • Adept at identifying opportunities for operational enhancements and coordinating efforts among various stakeholders;
  • Experience effectively delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure successful execution of mandates;
  • Experience working in the areas of digital collaboration, data management, Members' services, physical security, data centre or networking.

Assets?:

  • Experience in crafting and articulating strategic visions and actionable plans;
  • Experience managing budgets and resource allocation;
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing staff;
  • Experience working with high-profile stakeholders or clients.
