SPUD.CA is looking for a full-time, permanent Marketing Campaign and Copy Strategist based out of our South Burnaby, BC head office (#105 5566 Trapp Avenue).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage assigned marketing campaigns for SPUD.ca, Blush Lane Organic Market, and Be Fresh
  • Ensure that the marketing campaign calendar is updated to reflect the rolling 90-day plan
  • Create and get sign-off on briefs for assigned marketing campaigns
  • Review all marketing briefs for any missing information
  • Work with design (creative) to create the hook, the copy that makes you smile or makes you think
  • Use your creativity to tell the story through content and marketing campaigns
  • Hold all team members accountable for delivery dates of marketing projects
  • Report on performance of campaigns and create plans to refine and improve
  • Create a one-page post-mortem for all campaigns that can be shared across departments
  • Communicate with marketing team members about priorities in order to ensure that the most valuable projects are being completed first, and deliverable dates are being hitCommunicate with team members across all departments to ensure every department is aware of the campaign from start to end
  • Regular communication with the directors of online and offline marketing to ensure all brands and messaging are aligned within the company's goals and objectives
  • Contribute content for all brands
  • Perform analysis of campaigns, bugs, customer issues, and opportunities
  • Do whatever it takes to help grow the SPUD.ca, Blush Lane Organic Market, and Be Fresh brands
  • This role will involve a large array of tasks not limited to the ones in this description, and will require the skills of a jack of all trades
  • Additional duties as required
  • Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and WordPress
  • Experience creating content for the web
  • BA Degree in marketing, communications, or related programs
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • An annual salary, paid bi-weekly
