Job summary:

The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Capabilities Architect to join us. In this role, you will help create and maintain scalable combinations of people, process, and technology to enable best practices in campaign planning, marketing fulfillment, lead generation, segmentation, and data management. You will be expected to stay informed of industry and technology trends, write detailed technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance our marketing technology to support company goals. You'll need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and with various levels of involvement across stakeholders in our globally diverse company. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

Primary job responsibilities :
  • Define and validate key marketer personas and the associated core capabilities
  • Evolve and optimize key tasks and workflows for each of the associated persona capabilities
  • Translate process and tasks toward automation and scale by partnering with the Marketing Productivity team to use Aprimo features
  • Enable regional and global marketers to take advantage of these capabilities and grow adoption of the associated MO-Hub (Aprimo) workflows and features as part of end-to-end delivery documentation
  • Be able to describe how each component of the marketing infrastructure works and why
  • Develop a multi-year roadmap, and a prioritized backlog of feature enhancements, in order to continuously improve our marketing technology systems for our marketers
  • Communicate technical aspects of key marketing systems focused on events, digital media, web optimization, marketing automation, and marketer productivity in partnership with teams across Marketing Technology and Operations
  • Establish standard processes and reports in order to actively monitor platform adoption and identify opportunities to optimize system efficacy, stability, and costs
  • Publish insights and best practices to educate power users and internal stakeholders about how to properly use our marketing systems and processes to meet their marketing goals
  • Lead efficient meetings, explain data and technical details to non-technical audiences, and balance collaboration with achieving goals
  • Develop detailed technical documentation, including, but not limited to: user stories, data-flow diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams, user guides, test cases, and blog posts
  • Required skills:
  • 10+ years of work experience in B2B digital marketing organizations and BA or BS in related field
  • Foundational understanding of marketing data models and marketing automation systems
  • Experience using and supporting marketing systems focused on events, digital media, web optimization, marketing automation, and marketer productivity
  • Knowledge of how marketing metrics translate to conversion data and how that data passes into a database or corresponding CRM system e.g., Salesforce.com
  • Comfort managing projects across vendor, associate, and agency resources to problem solve within accelerated timelines
  • Excellent problem solver with ability to learn on your own and work in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment, across time zones, and with different cultures
