Job Summary/Basic Function
Do you want to get involved? If the answer is yes, you can help support the City-led projects and programs by joining the City as a Communications Advisor.
Engage your strong writing, research and interpersonal skills to develop and implement communication plans, community engagement activities and awareness campaigns. As a creative communicator, you will research, write and design communications content for various audiences and channels. Expertise with a variety of computer applications with an emphasis on web content management and design software is essential. Flexibility to balance priorities and multiple projects is critical.
The successful candidate will have a university degree in Communications or Public Relations and will have a proven track record in strategic communications, media relations, crisis communications, issues management and social media.
