The Rental Sales Representative will manage existing account relationships and generate new rental account sales in a targeted territory. The Rental Sales Representative will also be responsible for assisting in the operation of the rental fleet including; rental unit check in/check out, manage customer invoicing, National Accounts.

The Rental Sales Representative will manage existing account relationships and generate new rental account sales in a targeted territory. The Rental Sales Representative will also be responsible for assisting in the operation of the rental fleet including; rental unit check in/check out, manage customer invoicing, National Accounts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Related Duties

  • Develop and coordinate sales and marketing programs and strategies for new rental accounts.
  • Conduct Direct Sales Solicitation through cold calling, telemarketing, direct mail, etc.
  • Identify customer mix that matches our Rental fleet and communicate needs and availability to maximize Utilization.
  • Manage existing rental customers, ensuring customer service and coordinate any required problem resolution.
  • National Account Support.
  • Utilize lead programs and CRM to develop customer base.

Administrative Duties

  • Rental invoicing and IFTA Reporting (International Fuel Tax Agreement).
  • Utilize and become proficient in Idealease Rental (computer) System.
  • Utilize CRM; maintain and keep up-to-date with current information.
  • Open/close rental agreements.
  • Check out/in rental equipment; check for damage, all fluid levels, cleanliness
  • Insure proper driver and insurance requirements are met.

Fleet Related Duties

  • Assist General Rental Manager in: Spec'ing trucks to fit the local and regional market, and fleet and component Purchasing Programs.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Other related duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education; College or University Diploma/Degree.
  • Sales experience preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Truck or automotive dealership experience.
  • Competency in the following areas required; customer service, administrative skills, time management.
  • Proficiency with software and computers.
  • Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
