Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and 3+ years experience in social media marketing

or related fields preferred. We encourage all professionals with marketing experience to apply.

1. Coordinating social media for multiple brands and platforms;

2. Developing digital marketing strategy and campaigns;

3. Coordinating various marketing projects and events;

4. Assisting with copywriting, photography, videography, graphic design or other production of brand assets

(as applicable to the skills you already possess or may acquire through training);

5. Liaising with influencers and contract videographers and photographers for projects;

6. Managing my own time and output to promote a professional yet flexible work environment.

Tasks:

These are the general duties of the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator. Skills required are preferred and not

required to qualify for this position. We welcome all professionals with marketing experience to apply.

Daily Post content on social channels

  • Engage with online communities in a professional, on-brand fashion
  • Produce content for social media and other digital avenues, (if applicable to new hire's

skillset) including copywriting, photography, graphic design, web development

  • Liaise with contracted professionals, agencies, and influencers
  • Communicate with inside and outside stakeholders via digital communications
  • Meet in daily rhythms with sales and marketing teams

Weekly Build and adjust content schedule

  • Execute marketing projects and campaigns
  • Brainstorm new, exciting and effective ideas to push our social media marketing forward
  • Prepare sales materials and assist other marketing team members with projects
  • Photograph plants in their prime or various stages of the season
  • Meet in weekly rhythms with marketing team and company-wide open book management

Monthly Review plans and ideas with marketing team

  • Train in professional development
  • Meet in monthly rhythms with marketing team

Quarterly Meet with Marketing Manager to review performance in progressive Coach & Connect

style chats

Yearly Draft marketing strategies and plans for the coming year, primarily for social media

  • Assist Marketing Manager in creating the annual marketing budgets
  • Assist Marketing Manager in creating marketing plans for brands and/or products
  • Take part in the company high involvement planning process (HIP)
  • Meet in annual rhythms with marketing team and company-wide open book management

Occasionally Travel internationally to promote at trade events or visit current/prospective partners

  • Assist with other areas of the company such as production to learn the inside of the

business or simply help where needed
