Based at our office in Calgary and reporting to the Product Development Manager, the Marketing Specialist will play a key role in development and implementation of marketing strategies to strengthen our brand and expand our product offering. The responsibilities of the role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Execute branding strategies and develop new product marketing strategies
  • Web Presence and Social Media Management:
  • Driving brand awareness through all social media accounts
  • Overseeing & updating the company website and social media accounts
  • Developing measurable social media marketing strategies
  • Craft and design all digital content
  • Join and contribute to industry related social media platforms
  • Oversee E-commerce platform roll-out and improvements
  • Marketing Campaign Programs and Strategy
  • Collaborating with sales team to develop marketing campaigns and activities
  • Developing content for advertising on print and digital platforms
  • Communicating marketing programs & activities to field reps and channel partners
  • Event strategy and planning to ensure maximum ROI
  • Measure ROI of marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google analytics
  • Overseeing marketing-related aspects of a budget

The successful candidate will possess the following traits & qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a related role
  • BSC in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
  • Experience managing web content and social media accounts, and campaigns using these tools
  • Highly developed written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience in brand development and strategic market development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Efficient time management skills; proven abilities in prioritizing, organizing and planning to meet deadlines
  • A high degree of self-motivation, ability to function effectively both independently and in team environments
