Vertical Building Solutions, an industry leader in the installation and construction of pre-engineered metal buildings, pre-engineered fabric buildings and post-frame buildings is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our expanding team!

Our Sales Consultants are self-driven and motivated to increase market share within an assigned geographical territory/niche market; predominately Agriculture. You work as part of a team from concept to completion to deliver a building to our customer that is unparalleled in quality and backed by superior warranties and years of experience and knowledge.

Successful Sales Consultants are career minded with an extreme desire to succeed. They can integrate various technologies into their day to day activities to be highly organized and focused. Training is provided, but you must have the capability to learn as you go and adapt to the constant change of the construction industry.

This position will be located in Southern and Central Alberta. The successful candidate can work from one of our geographic offices or home-based office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent time management skills, ability to focus on high payoff sales activities
  • Professional communication skills including both written and verbal form
  • Successful sales experience growing a territory
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in construction sales in pre-engineered or post-frame buildings
  • Capable of generating and qualifying leads
  • Ability to grow existing market share
  • Aptitude for managing the construction process from beginning to end
  • Demonstrated good organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Must have intermediate or better computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to learn CRM program
  • Mid to extensive travel may be required.
