About the Role

We are searching for a dynamic marketing manager who will lead our promotional and client relationship strategy and programs for Corus, as well as our marketing strategy for streaming services (STACKTV). Reporting into the Director, Trade & Affiliate Marketing and Senior Manager, New Platforms, this role will work closely with our Sales, Client Marketing, Research, and Creative and Brand teams to ensure we are strongly positioning our brands, content and suite of offerings in the B2B marketplace. In addition to being a key point of contact for Corus' streaming services partners for STACKTV.


Oversee the development and execution of Trade & Affiliate marketing activities including sponsorship, sales support materials, advertising and direct marketing campaigns.

Plan and negotiate free preview strategy with Corus' cable partners

Work with our in-house creative team to develop trade campaigns promoting Corus, our brands, platforms and content

Manage key events such as our Upfront presentation and exclusive client events

Ensure we are linking our Marketing and Research activities with the activities of the Sales team

Manage online trade communications , including social media and

Work closely with New Platforms Marketing lead to build marketing strategy and tactical execution plan for STACKTV

Lead day-to-day marketing relationships with streaming platform partners for STACKTV

Responsible for leading the creative development for STACKTV, providing direction for creative briefs and presenting creative to internal and external stakeholder teams. Across a variety of asset classes (including TV, Radio, Pre-Roll Video, Digital banners)

Collaborate closely with programming and content teams, as well as marketing functional teams such as creative production, Social, Publicity, Media, and Digital.

About You

What We Need From You:

Broad experience across marketing disciplines including research, strategy development, content marketing, creative development and digital

4-6 years marketing or advertising experience

Strong events management experience and capabilities

Exceptional lateral leadership capabilities and solid business acumen

Excellent organizational and project management skills

Must be able to work collaboratively and inspire and influence those around them

Effective written and oral communication skills. A strong collaborator and ability to manage expectations with multiple stakeholders

A keen interest in marketing strategy and learning new skills

Experience of managing always-on broadcast inventory (TV/Radio) for marketing purposes would be ideal

Media agency experience would be an asset
