ROLE STATEMENT:

We are hiring a Senior Marketing Professional who can provide marketing, branding and positioning leadership and expertise that aligns with Calfrac's brand promise and vision. Reporting to the Vice-President, Capital Markets and Strategy, the Senior Marketing Professional will be integral to the continual advancement of the Calfrac brand. Collaborating with several internal stake holders, the Senior Marketing Professional will identify opportunities and avenues to bring developed content to market in a highly effective and targeted manner.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Brand Management

  • Oversee the development of all internal and external facing materials to ensure consistency in branding and alignment with Calfrac's established standards
  • Develop presentations, diagrams, graphics/illustrations that effectively communicate Calfrac's capabilities and reinforce overall brand positioning
  • Manage updates and enhancements to the company website to ensure it remains relevant and effective
  • Ensure promotional merchandise is sourced through approved vendors and branded according to established standards

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the company's brand promise and vision
  • Identify, develop, and implement creative marketing materials and initiatives that are relevant, effective and deployed through the right channels
  • Establish relevant metrics to validate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Assess opportunities for earned media exposure and integrate into marketing tactics when relevant
  • Lead the creation, deployment and analysis of customer-facing surveys; adjust marketing tactics as required
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring and analysis of competitor marketing activities and tactics
  • Source and manage external contractors as required to execute on the marketing strategy

Internal Marketing

  • Engage with all internal stake holders to ensure all marketing and branding needs are being met
  • Establish opportunities to collaborate and enhance the awareness of existing marketing materials
  • Communicate effectively with all stake holders on active marketing projects to ensure a cohesive and consistent go-to-market approach
  • Improve organizational knowledge regarding existing branding, positioning and marketing channels

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-8+ years' experience in a progressive role, preferably in marketing communications or equivalent
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or equivalent course of study
  • Proficiency in marketing material development utilizing various design tools or methods
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms used for branding and marketing initiatives
