NATURE AND SCOPE

The Coordinator Marketing & Stakeholder Relations primarily manages the institute's digital strategies and platforms, and visual and graphic materials and standards. The Coordinator Marketing and Stakeholder Relations is also an active team player on the Marketing and Communications team and works closely with colleagues to develop and carry out a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the development of a strong and consistent brand and the institute's strategic plan. This position is also responsible for stakeholder relations and agreement management in regard to scholarships and in-kind donations less than $50,000. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

The Coordinator, Marketing & Stakeholder Relations is responsible for achieving objectives outlined in SIIT's strategic plan, the comprehensive marketing and communications plan, and the annual performance objectives. The Coordinator will, in consultation with the Director, take the lead on developing, implementing and assessing digital strategies across all of SIIT's digital platforms. In addition, this position will oversee the visual identity of the Institute producing and managing graphic design materials, templates, photographs and videos. This role requires coordination of activities within the department, with internal stakeholders, and with external suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

The position will support marketing and communications efforts internally and externally primarily in the areas of digital strategy and visual identity. In addition to managing internal requests guiding colleagues within branding standards and setting reasonable expectations, this position should anticipate projects and tasks outside their area of focus. The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing electronic files, maintaining the photo and photo release databases, and completing timesheets to track work by department. The coordinator will develop and deploy strategies to communicate and promote the corporate vision, mission, mandate and strategies amongst community, private, and public stakeholders. This position will work closely with the Director on stakeholder relations and initiate and coordinate fund attainment for SIIT Scholarships.
