Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a full time permanent Outside Sales Representative for our Lethbridge location. The successful candidate should excel in customer service, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude.

Job purpose: This position's primary responsibilities is to increase sales and profitability by selling products, increasing customer base, and maintaining customer relationships.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Visits existing active accounts from customer list in territory and seek out potential new accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and deliver personalized attention to each, providing the best in quality service and value
  • Focus on customer service, delivering quotes to customers in person when possible
  • Pursue leads
  • Monitor quote success rates and watch for trends; keeping details on reasons for unsuccessful quotes
  • Promote and present product launches and programs
  • Host and attend tradeshows
  • Attend training sessions and product knowledge seminars
  • Attend industry networking events
  • Assist with setting annual sales goals
